The bed core consists of an outer bolster ring and center pad. The bed core is zippered so you can add or remove filling and customized the firmness of your dog's bed. The core has three layers, the first is inner filler of 100% polyester fiber encapsulated in the second a tufted soft mesh nylon lining to prevent clumping or shifting and the third layer is protective 600D PVC coated waterproof nylon designed for resilience and comfort. The bed sheets that are sold separately can be removed from the bed core so that both can be washed. The zippered bed sheets come in a variety of colors that fit over the bolster and center pad. Since both the core and sheets can be replaced you don't need to buy a complete new bed if either gets damaged.
